Film Scout is a native mobile application developed to gather viewers’ opinions on the 100+ films shown during the week-long world famous Sundance Film Festival. An MVP version of the application was revealed at the 2019 Sundance festival and was a massive success. For this year's Sundance the goal was to completely rebuild the app giving it the polished look & feel it deserves.
We started with a quick rebrand, working from the existing logo to determine typography and colors. Once the foundation was set, we got to work designing a sleek interface for every step of the user journey. At the 2020 festival, the app continued its successes, seeing an increase in users and garnering attention from publications like Variety and Forbes.
